Born in Yugoslavia in 1987, I moved to San Francisco in 2016. Before becoming a fine art photographer and cinematographer, I graduated from a physiotherapist college in Belgrade, Serbia. While earning my degree, I discovered that my interest in the human body and emotions are both practical and abstract, so decided to integrate a photography course into my studies. Driven by the urge to learn more about my inner and outer world after my first group exhibition, I enrolled in the camera department of the Faculty of Dramatic Arts at the University of Arts and graduated in 2015. In 2014, I was chosen as the best camera student of the year. I capture phenomena that exist between the raw and sophisticated, the real and surreal, and the deeply personal and public. My photography examines the boundaries between incompatible worlds.
